AFRICAN TOURISM LEADERSHIP FORUM 2019 – YOUTH SUMMIT INNOVATION COMPETITION
In July, I signed up for the African Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) Youth Summit Innovation Competition. My first ever e-learning platform, Nene-Uwa Tourism Academy was shortlisted as one of the top five (5) projects for a 5-minute elevator pitch at the Africa Youth Summit which took place in Durban, South Africa on the 27th of August, 2019.
Unfortunately I could not attend. So I had to send them my video pitch explaining why my project deserved to win.
In October, I got a confirmation mail that I am one of the top three (3) finalists for the 2019 Africa Youth in Tourism Innovators Competition! One of the most exciting offer is that I will be prepared to enter the World Tourism Forum – Lucerne Competition…one of the biggest Tourism competitions in the world!
NENE-UWA TOURISM ACADEMY

Also known as the TOURISM BUSINESS ACADEMY, it is an e-learning platform for Tourism Entrepreneurs. It consists of Tourism e-courses and a Tourism Business Incubator. The idea is to help both aspiring and existing Tourism Entrepreneurs build a sustainable Tourism business.
I recall the frustration I went through to start and slowly build my Tourism business. Finding the right information, platforms and all the general requirements was tough. I honestly don’t want others to go through that.
So I started the Tourism Virtual Summit and the Tourism Boost Workshop to help those interested in entering the industry. However, they were not sufficient enough. That is why I decided to create an e-learning platform so anyone who has access to it can easily refer to the lessons and apply them to their Tourism business.
THE TOURISM BUSINESS COURSE

The TOURISM BUSINESS COURSE is a 60 days e-course where participants will learn what they need to know about turning their tourism passion into a sustainable business.
One of the frequent questions I get asked are “What kind of Tourism Business can I start?” or “How do I make sustainable income from my Tourism Business?”
When I started my Tourism Business, I was confused, frustrated and clueless. But through constant research, education, trainings and networking, I have been able to find my niche and I am gradually building it into a sustainable business.
