The Dress code was creative smart Igbo attire or a touch of Igbo style.

FEASTING ON MOUTH-WATERING IGBO DELICACIES
If you follow me on social media, you would have seen pictures of me licking my fingers while eating nkwobi and licking my lips while drinking local palm wine *shines teeth*
One thing the Igbo culture doesn’t lack is good food…a wide range of delicious Igbo delicacies. And Ọgbakọ Ụmụ Igbo didn’t disappoint! There were food and drink vendors selling Igbo delicacies and local drinks.
INTERVIEW WITH AKARAKA NDIGBO
One of the side attractions included guests being interviewed in Igbo by Akaraka Ndigbo.
Before my interview, I warned them that my Igbo was not so good. One of them asked, “Can your Igbo save you when in serious trouble?” My answer was a ‘Yes’. He said, “Then you can speak Igbo”. I think I ended up
destroying smashing my interview *grins*

THE INITIATOR OF ỌGBAKỌ ỤMỤ IGBO
Ezinne Ukobasi is the initiator and Creative Director of Ọgbakọ Ụmụ Igbo.
Ezinne is also a volunteer at Open Your Heart Camp (OYHC). She had informed us about her plans for Ọgbakọ Ụmụ Igbo during this year’s camp. The OYHC family offered her some advise and tips towards the event. Some promised to support by sharing the news and attending. And we didn’t disappoint. Some of us showed up for her that day and we are glad we did.
Ọgbakọ Ụmụ Igbo was truly a dancing galore! Guests had a great time dancing to Igbo hits from the bands and performing artists. Some couldn’t even help dancing on their seats!
Trust me, I didn’t disappoint either! I danced the dance away! *wink*
Already looking forward to more galore, good Igbo food and lots of fun in Ọgbakọ Ụmụ Igbo 2020! Enjoy more pictures!
